These days, city streets are buzzing with an infusion of new restaurants and residents, breweries and bars, making Saskatoon one of Canada’s fastest growing cities.  With the South Saskatchewan flowing through the middle of town, river life is integral to the heart of the city.  

The tour of the beautiful city of Saskatoon starts with a visit to River Landing, University of Saskatchewan, and by Innovation Place, Broadway Avenue and the neighbourhood of Riversdale

Whether you are a Local or a visitor, we’ll whisk you away on a fun and informative craft beer adventure that includes 3 breweries in 3.5 hours each located in a unique brewery neighbourhood of Saskatoon. 

At each brewery you’ll enjoy behind a beer tasting with a brewery owner or sommelier (cicerone). A meal will be served at the second location. Savour a wide variety of Saskatoon’s finest craft beers and get to share some laughs with fellow beer lovers!

This full day tour begins at the Western Development Museum. The Western Development Museum (WDM) showcases the typical Saskatchewan town of the early 1900s, and captures the atmosphere and style of a bustling settlement. The afternoon will find you at Wanuskewin Heritage Park, a proposed UNESCO World Heritage Site. Wanuskewin works to advance the understanding and appreciation of the evolving cultures of the Northern Plains indigenous peoples.  

Innovation Place is adjacent to the University of Saskatchewan and builds on the strengths of the University in agriculture, information technologies, resources and the life sciences, as well as the strengths of the Federal and provincial agencies either in or immediately adjacent to Innovation Place. The Canadian Light Source or synchrotron is a source of brilliant light that scientists can use to gather information about the structure of materials at the molecular level.

 This tour will showcase the best of Saskatchewan art. You will visit the Saskatchewan Craft Gallery, and Gordon Snelgrove Gallery. Lunch will be fabulous Shift restaurant at Remai Modern, with a tour and program at the Remai Modern.
